Ever since MacWorld, Apple fans have been waiting for a 3G iPhone and it may be closer than you think.  Any revision to the iPhone will no doubt be welcome and hopefully the design will be updated as well.

It seems like there’s a new lawsuit against Apple almost every week.  This time a suit claiming that Apple infringes on a patent issued in 1990 that describes a system capable of displaying the phone number and name of the person calling.

The SDK is already running late and speculation has been running rampant about the iPhone SDK and it looks like we’ll be getting some answers soon.  Apple is planning an event for the first week in March and will discuss several items, including the iPhone SDK.

It looks like Apple’s taken back enough broken iPod Touch units that it’s finally reselling them – in perfect working condition and for less, of course.

Those wishing for an official developer kit for the iPhone by the end of this month are going to be disappointed.  Word on the street is that the developer kit will be delayed by at least two weeks, perhaps longer.

The iPhone and iPod Touch are like fine wines, they just keep getting better with time.  More uses are found for them every day and here’s something that I didn’t even think of.  It’s now possible to use them as a wireless touchpad for your PC or Mac.

Up until now if you wanted to be free of AT&T there were a few methods of jailbreaking your iPhone.  None of them were as easy as just connecting your iPhone and clicking a button.  At least, it used to be it wasn’t that easy, it is now thanks to a new application.

Adobe Flash has been one of the most requested features for the iPhone, and it looks like it is finally making its way to the iPhone. 

All those early iPhone adopters got a little angry last year when Apple dropped the price of the device by $200 just two months after introducing it.  Adopters of the iPhone this year may get just as angry.  Apple may be introducing the iPhone 2 later this year.  It will have enhanced features and perhaps a design revision as well.

It seems the near impossible has been done, again.  Any brand new Apple iPhone should be software unlockable as long as it has the 1.1.3 firmware and bootloader 4.6.
