because if people know when the new one is coming then they wont want to buy the old one today. If you knew that in 3 months a new model of the car you were looking to buy was coming out would you buy this one new today? when in 3 months it will be out of date…

Companies don’t promise anything unless they’re sure of a release date. It’ll look bad if they don’t hit a promised date – and most if not all development cycles for these things slip.

Why not have a time line, I hate all the secret stuff. Most people will wait so why not let them know how long it will be.
