AT&T ships three boxes to blogger for one iPhone
Wow, AT&T really messed up this customer’s order. After purchasing one of Apple’s popular handsets, he received three packages in the mail, and each held its own interesting surprise…
Blogger Brett Terpstra ordered only one iPhone from AT&T, and after two days and some speedy work by DHL, he received two different boxes. Upon opening the first, he discovered that it merely contained his iPhone — like it should — but the second box also contained a 16 GB mobile beauty too. Hooray!
Being the tech entrepreneur that he is, he kept both, discovering that both were charged to his credit card anyway. However, the next day held its own surprise when another box arrived. What could be inside? A bomb? Some Anthrax? All Friends seasons on DVD?!
Thankfully, it wasn’t any of those. All the third box brought with it was one empty plastic bag. Yes, AT&T wasted the time, money, and effort of several workers across several industries just to send a customer one useless, plastic bag. There must be some kind of problem with the company’s packaging system since this isn’t the first report of AT&T’s bag delivery service.
