More iPhone spec and price rumors hit web
By Danny Mendez
A number of 3G iPhone details have hit the web, adding a few items to the list of likely specs — including a few aesthetic, pricing, and internal "facts".
Yes, it’s a rumor, so don’t take it too seriously. But MacRumors says it got a hold of some unconfirmed information regarding the second generation (3G) iPhone, which Apple is expected to announce at the Worldwide Developer’s Conference.
The rumor says the new iPhone is supposed to lighter, though, we couldn’t care less if it weighed a bit more. We’re sure Apple wouldn’t release a phone that’s too uncomfortable to carry around. Furthermore, it will be released in black and a few other colors, but we’re unsure if other colors will be available right away or sometime down the 3G iPhone’s lifeline.
There will be a strong focus on multimedia, especially video recording and video conferencing, and it will come in two models. The 16GB should run $499, and the 32GB is said to run $699 — pricey. We think Apple will keep the original iPhone around to accommodate the budget minded. The rumor also supports the notion that the new iPhone will come with GPS.
This adds to what we’ve already heard about the 3G iPhone, which includes the following:
- Apple will use the same screen (same resolution and size)
- The recessed headphone jack will be replaced with a regular one
- Shiny, silver case will no longer be silver (though it may still be shiny)
- 3G mode can be turned off for 2G mode
- Old iPhone will likely get a make over and price drop
- There are a few options for Chinese and Japanese input, including Chinese handwriting
- Spotlight search for contacts?

I have read this post. This is very much true. Even I own a blog account on video conferencing. Video conferencing is indeed a great innovation in technology and communications. One day video conferencing will be like an ordinary house-hold item in the next 5-10 years.I will mention your post in my blog.
