iPhone developers finally get App Store download totals, daily

A big complaint from iPhone developers recently has stemmed from the fact that Apple wouldn’t release download stats for developers to know how well their app is doing among others. I guess the complaints have been heard loud and clear as Apple is finally reporting daily download stats to registered developers.






It had to happen eventually – unlocked phones are sneaking into the grey market of Asia, whether Apple likes it or not. There have already been sightings in Malaysia, with stores blatantly advertising the availability of unlocked iPhones. Not something that will please Apple because Malaysia is not one of the 70 countries listed as officially carrying the iPhone.
Several reports were filed across the blogosphere today about the occurrence of small hairline-type cracks becoming noticeable on iPhones. At first, it was thought white versions were the only ones being effected, but later reports confirmed that its black brethren suffers from the same flaw as well.
