The iPhone has to be financed by a bank. This does not prove its popularity. Rather, it is an admission of failure by the phone carrier companies. They have imported upwards of three hundred thousand iPhones in the country, but have managed to sell barely 5000. It is a moot point as to whether their sales revenues have been even able to surpass their ad budget, let alone pay for it through profits.
