iPhone, iPod touch v2.2 Update arrives

Apple has finally at long last released iPhone 2.2 Update, which comes to market with quite a few new features, as well as a passel of patches for a range of known issues.
• Podcasts—Millions of free podcasts are now available from the iTunes Store from your iPod touch.
• Safari Improvements—This update provides performance and stability improvements to Safari.
• Home Screen Shortcut—Press the Home button to get back to your first Home screen — even if you have many.
• New Languages—See Tech Specs for a complete list of languages.
• Mail Improvements—Enjoy improved email scheduling and better wide-format HTML email.
• Autocorrect On/Off—Turn text autocorrect on and off from the Keyboard Settings.
Non-marquis features include MobileMe and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync improvements, as well as an updated scientific calculator.
Of course, there’s also a lengthy list of security updates that ship baked into iPhone 2.2, including several critical issues that could—maybe, sort of, has anyone actually ever been affected—allow an attacker to take over an iPhone or iPod touch.
