November 8, 2009

Given that the English language is a mishmash of German, Gaelic, Old Norse, French and what not, it’s perhaps the richest repository of insults and profanity known to man. IPhone Blorge has a pair of apps for your iPhone and iPod touch to invigorate your vituperation, or there’s another app who’s purpose is tame the toilet, too.

Whether you want to exercise your umbridge or excise the expletives, from the silly to profane, here are three free apps to get the job done.

Profanity 1.1.0, $0.99
• More than 820,00 profane phrases
• Shake to shuffle functionality
• Requires iPhone OS 3.x.x

iDiss, free
• Anonymously insult people around the world
• User generated database of insults
• Vote for the best insults
• Add your insults

Mr. Censored, free
• Train yourself or another not to curse
• Produces classic profanity “beep” sounds
• Three different “censored” banners
