The talk radio format has been taking over the terrestrial radio space for years, so it only make sense people would want it on their iPhone and iPod Touch also.

Radio streams and apps have been gaining in popularity on the iPhone and iPod Touch, and that is thanks in no small part to the talk radio genre.  While there are station specific applications, there are also several that will give you access to multiple stations, so there is always something for you to listen to no matter what your taste is in talk radio.  We’ve gathered up 10 of the best free ones to help you get started.

103.7 The Buzz #1 Sports and Entertainment Talk Station In Central Arkansas: Beyond winning for possibly the longest application name I have ever seen, The Buzz comes out of Little Rock, AR and features a mix of sports and entertainment talk shows through out the day.

am1500/KSTP-AM/1500 AM Minneapolis/St. Paul: Serving the Twin Cities of Minnesota, KSTP has a local slant to most of its programming with notable exceptions such as the Wall Street radio Network and Coast to Coast AM with George Noory.
