Next iPhone is an A+ upgrade, says Jobs
Steve Jobs town hall meeting with Apple’s worker bees has yielded more fruit. Although the specifics are quite naturally sparse, Cupertino’s marketing maestros have laid out how they plan to own the news cycle for the next “X” months.
By now, we’ve all read how Steve Jobs — grain of salt — said that Google’s “don’t be evil” mantra is “bullshit” and that Adobe “is lazy.” Of course, this has boosted the noise to signal ratio in the blogsphere, ridiculously.
For the rest of us, MacRumors has sources that delivered a bit more than flame bait. Not much, but more.
Some more insights:• Apple will deliver aggressive updates that Android/Google can’t keep up with
• iPad is one of Jobs most important products
• Vis-a-vis Lala, Apple wanted to add them to the iTunes team
• Next iPhone coming is an A+ update
• New Macs for 2010 are going to take Apple to the next level
• Blu-Ray software is a mess and Apple will wait until sales take off before adding it.
Nothing earth shattering in there — actually more of a tease than anything else. But, this is how we learn about
Apple and its plans…
What’s your take?

My take is that it sucks that Apple won’t tell people if they are going to open the iPhone up to other carriers! ! WHY NOT? What is the reasoning? I want an smartphone and I want an iPhone. I had one and returned it within two weeks because of the terrible ATT service in my area. Why in the world would a mobile device maker give anyone an exclusive contract to it?? If the next generation of iPhone is not going to be available for other carriers.. tell people so they can get something else. why the freaking secret?

I heard today that Steve Jobs is taking his third medical leave of absence!! So he can focus on his health. Is this the end of the Apple era? The stock exchange of Frankfurt responded with a share value which was 7% lower! I am wondering what the share value will be tomorrow at the NYE
