There’s been a lot electronic ink spilled over why Apple and AT&T have stuck with each other for the past three years. Granted, nearly all of that noise came from users, analysts and the media, but the popular perception is that the two companies have privately been at war.

Apple has adjusted AirPrint compatibility and the second generation iPod touch has fallen off the list. Though a bit disappointing, especially our family owns one, this news isn’t particularly surprising.

If your interests sometimes tip toward the prurient, then at the very least the news that musician and general man about town — A-list Hollywood starlet side of town — John Mayer lost his iPhone 4 has surely pricked your curiosity. Is it at the bottom of the Hudson as he hopes or is someone negotiating with the tabloids over the photos?

The iPhone is now officially sold out in China, despite the huge price of the handset there, and for now the black market is the only way to buy an iPhone 4 in China.
