Will.i.am iPhone camera accessory is officially the ugliest thing ever
You know it’s a slow Apple news day when we’re reporting on Will.i.am’s latest get-rich quick scheme.
Say hello to his newest “i.am+” accessory — a hideously cheap looking iPhone case that transformed your iPhone’s 8 megapixel camera into a 14 megapixel camera! Wow! The cheap white plsatic is accented with gold plastic that will likely chip with normal wear and tear.
Here’s the kicker — it isn’t cheap! It’s going to start at £199. And if you have an iPhone 5, forget about it! (That’s probably a good thing, because the iPhone 5 is much to pretty to hide in a plastic encasing like this.)
I really can’t think of anything else to write about this, so here’s an excerpt from an the Telegraph:
“A companion iTunes app turns the hardware in to what the celebrity calls “a social photo experience”. It will also offer easy access for users to store In their individual i.am account.
‘As with other apps and accessories, on on-screen controls allow users to change shooting modes, apply real-time filters, control the in-built flash and edit pictures or add caption.”
I always check out the MacRumors forums to see what Apple fans are saying about crazy things like this.
Some responses:
“I think I’ll pass.”
“Can you say UGLY!”
“*VOM*”
And my personal favorite: “Will.i.am.not.buying.your.ugly.product.”
