Snapture is a program designed to replace the iPhone’s camera application, which has been criticized for being too simple. When it comes to Apple, simplicity is both a blessing and a curse, and it seems Apple assumes we all love simplicity in our gadgets.

AriX and Ben, the two teenage hackers behind iJailbreak, released version 0.6 of their software, an extremely useful 1.1.4 iPhone and iPod Touch jailbreak app for OSX.

The emphasis these days seems to be on the iPhone. But, 9.5 times out of 10, what works on the iPhone will work on the iPod Touch. FlyTunes allows you to listen to streaming audio stations on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Remember the good ol’ days when jailbreaking your mobile Apple device didn’t require a computer? Nowadays we have to resort to such old-school methods, but at least people like AriX and Ben are making it easy… for Mac users. The duo is "pleased to announce" iJailbreak for 1.1.3.

Microsoft would like you to believe "the Social" is the way to go, and perhaps they’re right. Except for the creator of Whisper, an iPhone app, it seems no one’s considering the abilities of Apple’s latest babies to help people interact (outside of calling/messaging).
